Chuck, i can't give any helpful information but i can commiserate...we have
all had
that sinking feeling as in, "oh nooooooo....." before, and it never goes
away--really stinks.

what gets better is coping ability.  the more often stuff dies, the better
you get at
handling it, even if that means knowing who to ship a rig to for repair.
so hang in there.

Hi again....

I took a voltage reading.... 0.64 at the TP2 point...and display is all
dots... is the VCO fried?

I can't get the pot to turn... for some weird reason...It was turning at one
point... *growl* :-/
