Interesting to note - Kenwood's confirmation of the build dates for your rigs
correlates with the previously mentioned "recipe" (first digit - 2 is year, next
two digits is month beginning in March or April)... i.e. 2 months after Mar/April
1994, and 10 months after Mar/April 1987...
