Eric,

This would most certainly require a firmware change.  Maybe you can get by using
400Hz and shifting up or down a little to narrow it up on one side anyway (at
the expense of widening the other side).  Or, use 400 and add an external audio
DSP unit (like a Timewave) that is adjustable - not as good as IF filtering, but
might accomplish what you want.
