[Kenwood] Remote computer control of TS480

I am looking at the TS480 as my next rig, and think
that the remote control by computer looks like a great
feature.  I wonder if anyone has tried this so far,
and how well it works.  Also wonder what computing
requirements are needed, as the Kenwood literature is
a little hard for me to understand on the matter. 
Here would be my setup:

Shack computer-120mhz pentium, 64MB Ram
Remote computer (at work) Pentium 4
I would try to connect via the internet.

Would this work?  Is anyone using a similar setup?
