I have a question about the TS480 and crossband
repeat. In the manual it shows that you need a
TM-D700 to interface with the TS480 for crossband
repeat. This works by hooking the 6 pin mini DIN plug
to each. However, in looking at the G707, it also has
a 6 pin mini DIN, and the wiring is the same as for
the TM-D700. COuld this radio also be used to
interface with a TS480 for crossband repeat? Has
anyone tried this with the TS480? How about any other
radios? The Yaesu FT1500 also has a 6 pin mini DIN
wired the same as the TM-D700, the audio levels are
just different.
