[Kenwood] Interfacing an AEA PK-88 to a TS-940 for RTTY

Here are the connections for the TS-440 and presumably for the TS-940.

Plug is ACC-2, a 13-pin DIN connector on the back of the transceiver.  =
The plug is available from Digi-Key, P/N CP1013-ND,  $1.65 ea.  Phone, =
1-800-DIGI-KEY.

01- nc (no connection)
02- nc
03- receive audio, fixed level 1v hi-z
04- receive audio return (shield, ground)
05- nc
06- nc
07- nc
08- chassis GND ground (use for ptt)
09- speech processor defeat (ignore in most applications)
10- nc
11- mic audio
12- mic audio return (shield, ground)
13- PTT (transmit activate)

I don't have the PK-88 pin connections, but use the above with a =
MFJ-1278 and also a lap-top when I run digital programs.

      I use mine only on VHF, connected to a dedicated MoCom 35 2 metre =
radio,
  using WinPack6.80 software. Can't help with the TS-940 although I =

      I think you're correct regarding RTTY being baloney! As I stated =
above,
  the PK-88 is PACKET ONLY.
