[Kenwood] low cw output Trio Tx599

Adding to my post:

When ALC level is in normal range in SSB, plate current is 200 =
mils.......I seem to remember it was 100-120 or so in a TS 520.

Perhaps the current meter is reading high and I am keeping it down =
artificially?

I have a Trio tx 599-same as Kenwood 599.

I have low output in cw mode...50 watts all across the bands with 200 =
milliamps of plate current..

SSB output is 100 watts or so everywhere with proper ALC readings..

I have done all of the alignment routines in the service manual and the =
owners manual.(output was lower before).

All voltages are as specified in the manual.

Would anyone have an idea of where to look?

Would adjusting T-1 on carrier unit (x50-0002-00) board cause freq to =
change, or output to vary?

Is it possible that the meter is reading improperly? I get 100 watts or =
so with 300 mils of current.

Has anyone seen this one?

I appreciate any assistance.

Mark, K8VF
