[Kenwood] TS850SAT Problem and Want

I am new to the Relector and have both a Problem and a Want.At power on, it
takes the radio several minutes before SSB signals go from garble to
readable..AM (another detector I believe) works immediatly.I have tried the
VCO-2 adjustment but it did not help.Once readable there is no further
problem.
To help troubleshoot I sure could use a schematic of the IF Unit and also
the RF Unit Kenwood left these two vital schematics out of my 850S
Instruction Manual.The online downloadable service manual also lacks any
schematics. Any ideas?
