Due to the internal wiring of the tuner, I replaced the wire antenna post 
with a SO-239 and added an external high quality 4:1 BALUN. Works great, and 
eliminated stray RF in the shack, which is what happenned when I tried 
shorting the OWL feeder.

  "Communications" is a People skill, the rest is technology.
