[Kenwood] TS-700 and TS-600

I've had my TS-600 for about 25 years. Bought it brand new and have used
it all this time. Only service problem was the burn out of several of the
minature lamps. Easy to replace if your handy with a soldering iron. The
600 is all mode with analog dial. Output is adjustable from the front
panel from roughly 0 to 12 watts making it ideal to drive a brick or
tube-type amplifier. VOX unit is an external box if you can find one. I
always used push-to-talk so it wasn't an issue with me. An ARR low noise
preamp mounted and wired internally in the 600 was the only major change
I made to the transceiver. Also has built-in AC and DC supplies so you
can even run mobile (if you have the room).
