[Kenwood] TM-V7A computer input program

I assume you mean program MCP_V7.EXE, not MV7110.EXE. The latter is the
self-extracting set up program that is run to create MCP_V7.EXE and its support
files. If I execute MCP_V7.EXE and click on Help, About... the About MCP-V7
message box contains the following:

Memory Control Program for TM-V7
Version 1.10
Copyright (C) 1998 KENWOOD Corporation

You didn't indicate what type computer and operating system you are using. The
Readme.txt that is created when MV7110.EXE is executed indicates the program
runs on Windows 95/98/Me/2000. I have used it on W98 and currently on XP Pro.

Are you running the same program and version, 1.10? I just ran my program
without any rig connected. If I double click on a channel number the memory
channel dialog box opens and the Option box in the lower right contains both a
Memory Name field and a check box for Lock Out. Both of these accept input on
my program.

I can send you the MV7110.EXE file I used if you want to try it.
