[Kenwood] DFC-230

Just a couple of quick questions to the list.

Which rig(s) was the DFC-230 designed to work with?

I currently have mine paired with the TS830s.  Works fb and is very compact.

Were these very popular and are they common or somewhat a rarity?  Until I 
got this one, I had never seen one before.  That doesn't mean a lot, but usually 
something like this is at every large hamfest, etc......

Any information or comments would be appreciated.
