I am trying to program my TH-D7 on a new laptop.  This laptop does not have
a serial port so I am using a USB to Serial adapter.  I called Kenwood and
understand that people do this, but that there are some additional settings
that must be made to the configuration of the computer.  They do not know
these settings and suggested that I post to the reflector.  Any help would
be appreciated.  The adapter works as I can connect to other systems via
this port.
