[Kenwood] TH-D7A(G)

Greetings!

My friend and I have recently purchased a couple of Kenwood TH-D7A(G)'s.
They feel like great little radios, and we're into APRS, so they fit us
really well.

Programming the radio is a little tiresome on the fingers, so we decided to
make a couple of programming cables, and use Kenwoods software to program
the radios.  When we tried to program them, we were ultamitly unseccesful,
many times.  We've followed all the steps that Kenwood has given us through
their tech support and in their information on their web site.  We've tried
multiple computers, programming cables, both of our radios, and even 4
differant types of programming software, and still have had no luck.

Also we've tried changeing all the settings on the computer, as there arn't
many to change, and we've messed with some settings on the radios as well.

If anyone has run into this problem before, and knows how to fix it, please
give me an email.
