[Kenwood] TS-480 Mobile Comments?

Let me state up front that I don't own one.
I have heard that the mic cord has to connect to the body of the rig and not
the control head.  That's the only negative I know of.   It is a con to me;
it might
be a pro to you.  If you are going to install it with the control head
attached to
the rig body then it doesn't matter.  If you want to put the body under a
seat or
something then to me, it would be weird to have the mic cord coming out from
under a seat.  Maybe what I heard isn't true.  If so I apologize.
