Woe is me! All of sudden there is no xmit. I replaced the 7.2V battery
pack with a 12V from Batteries America last year. It had been working
good, although at times the xmit light would blink on then off when
keyed but a few minutes after power-on it would transmit ok. I really
believe that was due to the old 7.2V battery failing.
Now when it is keyed, the display indicates full power and the power
indicator light is lit but zero output. I have it completely apart now
(no small task) and will try to use the scope and see where it is
losing it. With my aging eyes and arthritic hands, that may be almost
impossible but I never give up. Even with the magnifier light it is
real tough to find a location from the schematic.
Any ideas based on the symptoms? It has to be after the power sense
lead to the microprocessor.
