[Kenwood] Problem with Kenwood TS-950SDX

Hi Guys,
 
My Kenwood has developed a weird problem.
 
Only when I transmit… the receive will quit, as does transmit. SWR
goes to infinity.
I'll get it 20 over sounds like static. I've confirmed it's the radio,
by transmitting into the dummy load in my tuner.
 
I think it's heat related, when rig gets warm, it starts acting up. If
all I do is listen, it doesn't so it.
 
Anyone?
 
And will this be a major repair that's gonna like cost me big money?
 
If and when I get it fixed, it's outta here with the mic. I'm buying a
more reliable rig.
