[Kenwood] TS-850 display problem

On my TS-850S  ser.no 3xxxx:

The display will flicker when tuning the rig, showing more or
less of the seven 8-digits all the time.
Also the row of yellow indicators beneath the frequency digits are always
lit, and the filter indicators are also lit at random.
S-meter and alc - to the left on the display - are ok.

RX functions on the rig are ok .

All 4 DDS chips 6631 has been replaced by 66312.
The uF caps on the display board inspected no sign of
any leaks there.

Some time ago there was  another report on the row of
8's all lit on the display.,however I'm not able to trace this msg
in Knw archives.
