[Kenwood] ts2000 loss of sensitivity after transmit

for a while now my TS2000 has shown reduced receive sensitivity after
switching from transmit.  for a time it was sporadic but is now pretty much
a feature (??bug??).  sometimes if I key/unkey a couple of times it
recovers.  kinda random.

anybody else had this problem and is there a simple solution?
