But you could probably run it into an external balun and do pretty well.
The internal tuner in my TS-850, run into a 9:1 balun, will match a
400-foot doublet, fed with ladderline, on all ham bands. In fact, my 400
watt amp works into the balun/antenna combo also, with no tuner required.
Just some thoughts for experimentation!
