[Kenwood] VFO-240 on TS-530S problem - Fixed

After pulling the case on my 530S and cleaning the VFO socket and the
switch on it (weird switch - I've never seen one mounted to a DIN socket
like that) I still had no signal.
Finally looked at the socket on the VFO (pretty easy since the face
falls off!) and realized 2 wires were pulled off (blue and skinny black
- not sure of function yet). Soldered them back on and it works like a
charm.
Many thanks for all the suggestions and help! My stupid mistake - I
should've looked inside the VFO first as it had the physical damage!
No splits shall elude me now (unless of course they are in Extra
territory - I'm working on fixing that problem).
Thanks!
