Hi Folks:
I am a "newbie" to the Kenwood list as of last evening, I have several
pieces of Kenwood gear in this shack and its a wonder why I haven't
subscribed to the list, sooner. Here's what I am doing and what I am looking
for. First...the bulk of my Amateur Radio operations in and outside the Qth
revolves around VHF and UHF repeater systems. Yes, I design and build such
devices but only as a hobby and for our group.
Secondly, I want to take my Kenwood TH-235A 2-meter HT and modify it to use
as a *remotebase* radio and tie it into our 900mhz repeater system. For
those who own and have used this portable you can in fact manually select
frequencies through its VFO function or manually select any of the memory
channels. What I need is the actual schematic, which was never included in
the box when I purchased the radio.
This schematic/diagram will allow me to "go where no man has gone before",
at least in my particular radio, since it left the manufacturing plant so I
can find the appropiate "control" lines for COS,PTT, memory selection and a
few other goodies.
Sorry to drag this out but this is how I generally try to explain what and
how I do things in this grand hobby of ours. So does anybody on this Kenwood
list have a schematic, is willing to photocopy or send as a file [off the
list directly] and send to me. Thanks folks ever so much and best 73!
