[Kenwood] Kenwood TH-27A

Hi everyone, I have a Kenwood TH-27A that in my opinion is broken. I was wondering if any of you guys could diagnose the problem for me. What happens is when I turn the radio on, I can hear people talking, but after a minute or so their voice just fades away. And when I turn on my scanner, I can still hear them talking so I know that it's the radio, not the QSO ending. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
