I just purchased a TS-830 and I already have a Logikey K-3 Keyer. I've =
used
the keyer with a TS-2000 and Elecraft K2. The TS-830 hasn't arrived yet =
but
I'm starting to think about it. Does anyone know if the TS-830 and the
Logikey K-3 can be used together. The keyer has a red jack for use with
solid state rigs and a white jack for use with tube rigs. The TS-830 =
has
-65 volts at the key jack and the TS-830 manual says to set the polarity =
for
negative keying. On the Logikey K-3 the red jack has a + next to it and =
the
white jack has a - next to it. The K-3 manual says to not use the K-3 =
with
cathode-keyed rigs (usually rigs made before 1970) without an isolation
transformer. I don't know is the TS-830 is a cathode-keyed rig.
Any help would be appreciated.
