[Kenwood] 850 vs 450

Very nice job of comparison, though I think you have the filter 
bandwidths incorrect.  As far as I recall, the 450 has the Murata 
ceramic K15 filter on board (isn't that a 2.4 kHz filter?) and the 
optional filter for the 8.8 IF is the YK-88S-1, another 2.4 kHz 
bandwidth filter.  The TS 850 has a pair of 2.7 filters, the Murata 
ceramic K12 and the (not optional) YK-88S1 (note the difference in where 
the dash is placed :-) which is a 2.7 kHz filter, unlike the YK-88S-1.  
I haven't had my 450 in a few years, but I recall comparing the filters 
this way.

I think it has already been noted, but the 850 processor is an RF 
processor, really a different animal than the 450 audio processor (and a 
whole lot better for "sound").
