I was spinning my 930's VFO the other night to get across one of the bands
when the VFO knob "grip" kind of slid right off of the knob! I took a close
look at it and didn't see any cracking or other signs of rubber
breakdown/wear. I guess it just doesn't fit onto the VFO knob as tightly as
it used to. As it appear to be just a friction fit, I would think that a
little bit of electrical tape on the VFO knob core might help the grip stay
on. Has anyone else run across this problem?
Thanks, Michael N9BDF
