I have an opportunity to purchase a non-working 850 with the following symptom: (distorted-"motorboating"..no rcv in cw/ssb at times. AM works fine...intermitent problem) I've seen several posts about similar problems. Is this a PLL failure or I recall reading something about a DC-DC converter problem in the 850? de Rick, KN3C
