[Kenwood] WTB:830S to Amplifier Relay Cable

    The cable is very easy to make up. All you need is a length of
conductor cable (I used shielded 4 conductor coax because that's what I had
on hand), a 7-pin DIN plug, and an RCA phono plug, both available at Radio
Shack. The 7-pin jack on the radio will also allow you to run an extra 2
conductor wire from the plug to a hand or foot PTT switch,  hook up a
speaker, ALC input, and gives you a source of 12VDC @ max 10mA. I didn't
bother with hooking up a speaker or using the 12VDC source, so I was able to
use the 4 conductor cable. The ground is the shell of the plug and is
common.
    I no longer have my 830S, but I'm using the same cable I made to connect
my TS-950SDX and SB-200 Amp.
    I don't believe the cable was ever produced commercially.
