[Kenwood] TH-225A questions.

Hi.
Today I just received a nice TH-225A from a friend, no manual, no
information. It seems to work ok but I have a few questions about this
"brick".

1. How do you program the memories, (frequency, offset, PLL tone etc).
(All my past HT's had "VFO" knobs etc, this one only a keypad).

2. It "may" need a new memory battery. I haven't torn it open yet, but
what type of battery does it take and where is it hidden in the radio?

3. The PB-12 12 Volt battery pack may or may not hold much of a charge, I
haven't run it that long yet. Assuming it's old and worn out, is it
feasible to get into this battery case and replace the cells?

4. Lastly. Is there anyplace I can download an owners manual for this
critter? Google turned up nothing other than the "buy a copy" places.

73 from the "Beaconeers Lair".
