[Kenwood] TS-930S query

Have been trying out a TS-930SAT and was wondering if anyone has used a VHF transverter with the 930?  Such as a Microwave Module or similar.  Was wondering if the XVTR din plug on the back has low level output for driving a transverter?  Book is lacking a lot of info on that.  Any interesting mods for the old 930?
