[Kenwood] TS 850SAT Reciever Dead

I got in this evening, turned on the 850 and it was as usual.  Changed down
to 75 meters and hit the mic button.  Suddenly I lost all Rx audio except
for a squeal that can be heard through the speaker.  Tried all modes, all
bands, reset the processor, unplugged everything.. nothing changes.  The
transmit audio seems to work ok, doesn't seem to fluctuate up and down or
anything like that.. I've just lost all rx!

Has anyone else seen this happen on an 850 before, and if so, what was the
problem?
