Question --

My R5000 serial interface does not work (it once did). This has been
an ongoing problem for a few years (I have revisted it a few times).

I have already replaced the two line driver chips in the radio, I have
checked the cable and I have the correct external interface.

The last time I asked about this, I learned others have had the same
problem, although no one had been able to find a solution, including
AES in Chicago if my memory serves me correctly. I guess this means
they have R5000s without serial control now.

I'd really like to fix it ... if it is possible. Also, the light on
the signal strength has burned out, anyone know which Radio Shack
bulb (or other source) is needed to replace it?

Thank you, Steven
