I actually am curious about this too, on my TS-940. Sadly, there is
interference coming from somewhere new that it hasn't before. I've seen
It's about an S-5 on the meter, and kicking either NB in will get rid of it
in the same way. The level control does not seem to have very much effect
on what happens (if any).
I'm curious if the electrical system of my apartment building is all
tied together at some point past the meters. I'm guessing that it is,
since I've had bad flickering on my computer monitor with the refresh turned
up high, when someone flips a microwave on. I'm wondering what type of junk
that someone may have plugged in, that would cause this S-5 noise, which can
be described as a "buzzing static."
