A few years ago Kenwood had a recall on these for that very problem. Now I
would suggest you contact them (have the serial number ready) and see if they
can help. Replacing the buttons is easy if you have some experience working
with small electronics otherwise, you may want to simply send it to them for
the replacement. Their contact info is on their website.
