[Kenwood] Serial number question...need help...

1990, 7 month, 50th unit
There are tow separate interpretations of the month one is calendar year
i.e July and another is their fiscal year which I think starts in April so
I guess that would be October???
in general the scheme is
XYYZZZZ
X-2 = Last digit of the year
YY = month (1-12)
ZZZZ = unit of production on the line that month
As far as I know this scheme has held for the last 20 years at least.
