[Kenwood] keyboard (IC-7800)

The IC-7800 is not vaporware, anymore than the TS2000 was when it was
introduced. The 7800 does exist already as a goverment contract rig. I saw
the IC-7800 at Dayton, and even if it's half the rig they claim, it will be
very impressive. The only question is how much will it cost (my guess:
$8000) will it have Icom's claimed specs (probably close).

Don't fall into the habit they have on the Icom reflector in discounting
every new product a competitor introduces. The 7800 will be an impressive
rig. Let's just hope the folks at Kenwood will introduce the long rumored
replacement for the TS950SDX to give Icom some competition.
