John,  try to understand.

Suppose that I forward a posting by Dr. Johnson to my friend.
My friend sends it to another group where someone who is writing a coloring
book has run out of material and puts it in his book.
Dr. Johnson finds out, and traces it to me.
He then sends me a letter from his lawyer.
I know he has no rights to something he posted in a list but he has shown
that he has no clue.
It doesn't matter that he has no case, it can still  be a hustle and can
cost me money to hire a lawyer to answer his letter, or go to court.
It is like K1MAN taking people to court because they were using "his
frequency"
It must be of interest to all members.
