I saw the prototype at Dayton.  I guess the plus is a 950 SDX style receive
front end and the good characteristics that goes along with that.  The DSP
is audio in nature.  IF bandwidth is handled with analog filters.  On
transmit, they're offering 100 and 200 watt models.  Coverage is 160 - 6
meters.  I did not see or hear of an availability date.

NOW...  the interesting news was Icom's new top end prototype, the IC7800.
In their minds, it 'blows away' the Ten Tec Orion...  at '3 - 4 times the
cost.'  Wonder how many of those Icom will sell.
