[Kenwood] TS 850S/AT no power output

I think I encountered a ground loop between the soundcard in my laptop and
the FSK/PTT lines going into the radio.  I've been working fine all day on
20 meters, however tonight I switched to 40 meters and noticed that the
monitored audio sounded horrible.  I stopped the TX and backed the power
down, tried it again, sounded fine.  I unplugged the audio cable and keyed
the radio again and it seemed fine..  However I noticed that the watt meter
in the corner showed no output.  I changed the meter, put another meter in
line and nothing.  Switched back to 20 meters, nothing.  The S meter on the
radio during transmit appears to show relative output power and actually
"folds back" as I go out of band where SWR on the antenna begins to get
high.  The antenna tuner actually keys the radio and tunes the output, but
nothing is coming out of the radio itself.
