[Kenwood] 850 Question

Hi Folks,

Been off the list for a while.  I just got a very nice TS 850SAT that the
shipper dropped and mashed the rear top case bad.  I have a new one
ordered.

In testing it out, I find it has a lot of hash when tuning, without
stations being present.

Has anyone run into this before?  Does it just need star washers and
tightening up of the board to chassis grounds like the old 530 and 830?
