Hi Kelly,
if the RM-1 is not required, then:
without using the RM-1 (using only the keys on the TS-950SDX front panel)
can you please explain me how to:
1. Record and Playback a CW message.
2. Record and Playback a VOICE message (assuming the DRU-2 is installed).
I“m allways ready to learn. :)

The RM-1 is NOT required to playback or record voice or CW memories. It
merely duplicates in remote form the functions already supported on the
front of the radio.
The RM-1 will activate any functions supported, including DRU-2 activation,
but it is not required for DRU-2 operation nor is DRU-2 required for RM-1
operation.
