If this comes through more than once I apolize.
Must not have gone through the first time.
I just received my brand new TS-2000 from GigaParts. Out of the box I
made
all the approiate connections. When setting the rig up I first set the 2
meter and 70 cm settings for our local repeaters. Everything worked
fine. I
then went to 75 meters and set the switches to transmit into the dummy
load.
At this point I keyed the mic and the rig keyed (with the red
indicator) and
I heard it key. The problem is nothing happened. The rig was keying but
had
no output. I switched the coax from ant1 to ant2 also switching the rig
from
ant1 to ant2 and still nothing. I noticed no matter which antenna jack
was
used switch the rig from ant1 to ant2 made no difference in the receive.
Receive still worked seeming ok. Another thing I noticed when I turned
the
rig on the fan was loud and never shut off. Did I get a bad rig or do I
something set wrong? Any help will be greatly appriciated.
73 to all and TNX
