[Kenwood] tm-d700 have ignition sense???

Well you could put a motion sensor on the engine block. The sensor drives
some circuitry that controls a set of relay contacts. You put the 12 volt
positive lead from the battery to one contact and the other goes to the
radio. The engine runs, the motion sensor drives the relay to close and
voltage is applied to the radio. Engine stops, sensor detects no motion,
relay opens, and voltage is removed from the radio. Or, you can wire a
relay with a 12 volt coil somewhere on the hot side of the ignition
switch. The 12 volt leads to power the radio go through the relay
contacts as mentioned before. Turn the key, relay closes, and voltage is
connected to the radio. Or you wire a loud bell etc. etc. Remembering to
press the on/off button on the radio and taking my keys are always the
last things I do before I leave the car.
