[Kenwood] Ceramic Filter Test

Hi gang!

Is there a good way to test a ceramic filter?

 I just acquired a dead TS-830 and signal tracing back from the antenna
connector I suspect CF2 on the IF board, the 455khz SSB ceramic filter is
bad.  I can jump the filter across and the beast come back to life, both
transmit and receive.  I was wondering if there is a way to check such type
filter maybe not for this rig but for future reference.

By the way, anyone has a junker TS-830 or a CF2 filter laying around and
want to sell it to me?  Maybe even the whole radio or IF board.
