[Kenwood] Just some related on the TV-506

As I mentioned, the output is low on the TV-506 but I wanted to try some
PSK31 so I hooked up the transverters.

Just playing around, the antenna leaning against the house I worked
WA5UFH tonight in TX. from Iowa. It is amazing how well the transverters
work.

 I am only  putting out about four (4) watts and have a  3 element beam
that I dug out from the shed, and have on a 7-8 foot mast (antenna
element tips leaning against the house) pointing south from Iowa (The
Omaha Nebraska  Metro area on the Iowa side of the river).

Too boot, the computer monitor dumps noise (wouldn't you know it right
about 50.290) so have some noise to contend with so I was quite impressed
with the way the transverer worked. So much so that I want to get the 2
meter one going again as well.
