[Kenwood] final plate glows red!!

Just noticed plate begins to glow red with key down.  Have been trying to get 
output back to its 100 watt ratings. what would cause this plate to glow?  It 
is only in one of the final 6146's .  This is in the TS-820S rig. I listed 
early with low power and no drive/alc .  Think I might as well send it to Texas. 
 Have used up the 55 gal cleaning contacts.  Hi voltages are there.   Also 
noticed  in the final that glows; a blue tint'Gases'.
