[Kenwood] TM-D700A Remote Head Firmware Update for TS2000 Compatibility

Hi listers.......
 
Would anyone happen to have a copy of the Application Note or Service
Bulletin (I can't remember which) that detailed the procedure to follow
to send in the head unit of the D700A for a firmware update to allow it
to be used with the TS2000 instead of buying the RC2000?  As long as one
could show proof of ownership of both the D700A and the 2000, the
firmware update was free, although shipping costs to and from the
Kenwood service center was not.  If you had serial number such-and-such
or newer, you already had the newer firmware, but mine was "older", so I
need to send it in.
 
Thanks in advance.  Ever since Kenwood updated their website, it sure
seems that bunches of older notes and bulletins have gone "missing."
