[Kenwood] repairing mic for 231-A mobile radio

Has anyone one on the reflector had the problem with the metal plate inside
the mic for the 231 and 241 coming loose?

If so what kind of glue would be the best to use, I have 2 of these mics
that are now broke and for what they want for a new one, well I'll try to
fix it myself.
