All the Kenwood service bulletins were incorporated in ser# 50 million and
above.

The TS-930 had several factory improvements starting with 50 Mil serial
numbers but I don't believe the 850 was affected thus. The 850 has a couple
of warts to be sure (DC/DC converter and VCO trimmer caps) but $$ for $$
still the best radio Kenwood ever  released.
