Hello Richard,
  To use the band scope with the pan adapter, you don't hook up the BNC
cables, just connect the IF out of the 940 to the back of the pan adapter.
They are RCA phono jacks.  You can use a phono cable.  Coaxial shielded is
best, but even twisted pair with your own soldered plugs work fine.
